Children make up songs effortlessly, but as adults we often freeze up. This workshop is designed to playfully tap into our instincts for melody and rhythm and bring them front and center.  We will also explore song structures that are part of the vocabulary of musical theatre, so that you can add some basic musicianship to your improvisational skill set.  The cast of Sondheim UnScripted will share tips and techniques for improvising in the style of Stephen Sondheim.
